Why don't Arabs wear straw hats or baseball caps instead of wrapping their heads in so much cloth and stuff?

Doesn't that look really hot and really desperate? They need to buy some Mexican cowboy hats or some pith helments. I just do not get it. It looks completely impractical and funky.
What a pack of lies! Wrap up in blankets to get cool? Makes no sense.

Old timey traditions don't change. Here in hot humid Miami you can still see orthodox Jews walking around with long curly sideburns, beards, a black coat and black hat in the heat of the summer. I'm glad I don't have any traditions to break. I dress for comfort whether it's fashionable or not.
